Michigan State University faculty and doctoral students are invited to apply for MSU-CIBER grants to support professional development, research, and curricular activities that are of importance to global competitiveness of U.S. firms. MSU-CIBER operates on a monthly review cycle, and proposals may be submitted at any time. As a policy, MSU-CIBER supports scholarly activities that have a significant international dimension. This includes presentations at both domestic and international conferences, where the paper/research incorporates a clear international component. All grant requests that involve international travel must be submitted no later than 45 days prior to departure, due to new federal grant requirements. Grantees are required to provide a written report on the financial and academic aspects of their activity upon return, which may be published in the Views section of globalEDGETM, our global business knowledge portal.
For the 2007-2008 academic year, MSU-CIBER actively seeks grant applications that focus on national security and risk. To apply, select the type of grant you are interested below.
